Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Applivation.
Effective October 11, 2026 · Applies to the Applivation app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac
Plain summary. Applivation is a free job-application workspace. It never submits an application for you, it collects no data from you, and the only paid product is a one-time, non-recurring unlock. You review every field, then submit the application yourself.
1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using Applivation you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Applivation is made by Magnetic Anomaly LLC, referred to in these terms as “Applivation” or “the developer.”
2. Your Apple Account
Applivation does not create a separate account for you. Your use of the app, your purchases, and your entitlements all run through your Apple Account under Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions and the rules of your App Store storefront. You are responsible for keeping your Apple Account secure.
3. Free for 30 days, then a one-time unlock
Applivation is free to download, and keeping your information in My Info and your Library does not require a purchase. Filling is free for 30 days, starting with the first form you fill. When the free period ends, a one-time, non-consumable “Full Unlock” in-app purchase keeps filling unlocked. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, ever. One unlock covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac under the same Apple Account. The free period is offered once per Apple Account, even if refunded. Prices are shown in the App Store, are charged by Apple, and may vary by region; refunds are handled by Apple under its Media Services Terms.
4. What Applivation does, and does not, do
Applivation helps you fill job-application forms from the information you keep in My Info. It is a tool you operate. It does not guarantee that any field will match, that a form will fill completely, that a posting will remain available, or that any application will succeed. Job sites change without notice and may break detection or fill at any time.
5. You submit every application yourself
Applivation never submits an application on your behalf. Submitting is always your own action. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything entered into a form and for the truthfulness of the applications you submit. Applivation is not a party to your applications, and is not an employment service, recruiter, referral service, or agency.
6. Your data
What you keep in My Info lives on your devices and syncs through your own iCloud account, which the developer cannot see. Details, including how to erase it, are in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
7. Importing from LinkedIn
“Import from LinkedIn” means a one-time, on-device import of a saved LinkedIn-profile PDF that already lives on your device. It is not a login, it does not ask for LinkedIn credentials, and it does not connect to LinkedIn. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and use the file you select.
8. Third-party job sites
Job applications open inside in-app web tabs that load third-party job sites. Those sites have their own terms, privacy practices, and acceptable-use rules, which apply to you while you use them. Applivation is not responsible for the content, availability, or behavior of any third-party site, and is not affiliated with any applicant tracking system or employer.
9. On-device intelligence
AI assistance runs on your device. Its output always appears as a suggestion you can confirm or ignore — never as silent fill, and never as the source of values in My Info. You can turn it off in Settings. An optional cloud tier is not active in this version and would require a one-time explicit consent before any use.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app — for example, not to enter false or misleading information, to circumvent a site’s intended workflow, to work around the free period or the unlock, to overload or scrape any third-party service, or to help anyone else do so. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, redistribute, or resell the app, except to the extent applicable law allows it despite this restriction.
11. The app is provided “as is”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Applivation is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer’s total liability arising out of or related to these terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the unlock, if anything. The developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost interviews, offers, or employment. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of sections 11 and 12 may not apply to you.
13. Changes to the app and these terms
The developer may update or change the app at any time, including which features are available after the unlock. If these terms change, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing law
The app is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms apply in addition to it, and Apple is not a party to them. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
